Tummy Tuck
What is a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck, or abdominoplasty, is a surgical procedure to remove and tighten excess skin and fat in the abdominal area.
What does a tummy tuck do?
The operation is typically performed to improve the appearance of the abdomen, especially after significant weight loss or pregnancy, or to address abdominal issues that may arise due to loose abdominal muscles or excess skin.
What are the options?
Liposuction: Our surgeons only perform liposuction if there is excess fat present in your abdomen and your muscles and skin are in good condition.
Mini Tummy Tuck: You may prefer this if you have a slight excess of skin and fat in the area below your belly button. During this procedure, the surgeon does not touch the belly button.
Full Tummy Tuck: In the case of excess skin, they remove the excess from the area around the belly button.
T-scar Tummy Tuck: This is a good option for patients with extensive excess skin in the upper abdominal area. During this procedure, in addition to the horizontal incision, a vertical incision is made from the upper abdomen to the pubic region. This allows for maximum tightening of the entire front abdominal area and a slimmer waist.
